Shindig Festival 2025: Line Up Announced

Shindig Festival returns in 2025 with its biggest and boldest line-up to date — a global celebration of music that brings together legendary icons, rising stars, and a community of music lovers ready to dance from day to night.

This year’s programme is a vibrant mix of styles and cultures, headlined by internationally renowned tastemakers such as Gilles Peterson, Seun Kuti & Egypt 80, and the electric Moonchild Sanelly — fresh from the release of her critically acclaimed new album, already earning five-star reviews. Known for collaborations with Beyoncé, Gorillaz, Self Esteem and Ezra Collective, she’s set to bring unstoppable energy to the Shindig stage.

The weekend will echo with the sounds of afrobeat, highlife, dub, bass, funk and beyond. Acts like Asian Dub Foundation, Ibibio Sound Machine, Gentleman’s Dub Club, Dub FX, Mr Scruff ft. MC Kwasi, Dan Shake, Romare (Live), Algote Oho & His Sounds of Joy, and The Reflex promise to deliver powerful live performances and irresistible dancefloor energy.

Festival favourites and regular crowd-pleasers are also returning, including The Nextmen, A.Skillz, Krafty Kuts, Altern 8, JFB, K.O.G, Channel One, Cut Capers, Raz & Alfa, and TC & The Groove Family. There’s also a buzz around appearances from Leeroy Thornhill (formerly of The Prodigy), Breakage, and Slipmatt, adding to an already packed weekend.

In true Shindig style, the stages will come alive with takeovers by some of the most exciting collectives in the UK scene. Expect sets curated by Born on Road, Finger Lickin’ Records, Gorilla Tactics, Tropical Tea Party, Thick Boy Records, Bacana Funk, and a special birthday bash for Altern 8’s 35th anniversary.
